Haven't had the time to update because I didn't bring along my Mac this trip & am too busy catching up with different people after I'm home yesterday! I'm definitely & desperately in need of sleep so... Gimme a while more to share with you guys about my HKGSFO flight :)

GOOD TIMES ROLL

HELLO! Hope the week's been well for you because it has been great for me :)

Now let's #throwbackwednesday and see what I've been up to for the past 5 days...

I was supposed to be in Frankfurt & NewYork until today but I've decided to change away the flight and that explains why I have a long break before my next flight.

It's gonna be a damn good and exciting trip!!!!!!! 

As much as I wanna blog about what's to come, I shall keep you guys in suspense.

Wednesday was goodygoooood!

I was woken up by J's phone call and he picked me up for an impromptu lunch!

I like it how I always need not fret over what to feed my tummy because it's all planned for or if not, he'll make the decisions... Hahaha because I hate making decisions so my answer will always be "ANYTHING!" as long as it's food I eat, hehe.

Guess where he brought me to?

All the way to Adams Road Food Centre for the famous Prawn Mee :)

I've tasted almost all the famous Prawn Mee in Singapore because my Papalim used to bring me to different places for breakfast and according to him, Joo Chiat's Prawn Mee is the bessssst. And as for me, I normally eat my Prawn Mee with soup (and ALOT of chilli) and I thought Adams Road's soup is rich enough for my tastebud to crave for moreeeee. So it's a YES MUST TRY! ;)

And we were lucky enough because there was no queue that afternoon. 

So go during non-peak hours!

After lunch, as usual, I was driven around aimlessly not knowing where I'll be brought to next (It sounded like I'm damn easy to kidnap hahaha) and then....

I swear I tried to resist. I swear I said I don't wanna eat!

REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY. Because he's been bringing me to different ice cream places everytime we finished our meal; HOW TO NOT GROW FAT WARAO >:/

But ya anyway I still ate it la... Because while I was procrastinating whether to order or not, he went "One scoop of Hazelnut please" then when I looked at him he said... "YOUR EYES OPEN SO WIDE ALREADY STILL SAY DOWAN EAT" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA What a greedy pig argh I hate myself. True sucker for ice creams.

Anyway I took away a take-home pack for my Papalim because he loves Coconut and I remembered he said before he's been searching for Coconut ice cream ever since we tasted once in Taste Paradise :)

I was so excited to buy it for him and yay of course he loves it because it really tastes authentic ;) So if you guys are looking for ice cream places, this is one place you can go to!

In the evening was a long-awaited date with the batchmates!

Such a pity only 6 of us managed to meet up :(

It's so difficult to even have a meal together due to our irregular working hours, so we'd meet whenever whoever is in as much as possible. 

Ah, I miss those days together;

OMG yes the food there's so expensive and the portion's just nice for 2-3? 

Quality of the meat are decent though. 

Oh and also...

Hahaha. That's about it and I don't think I'll go back there anymore.

Thursday afternoon was spent with Jsquare (Hahahahahahaaaaa) to my favourite foot massage parlour and lunch at Genki! ^^

Had a turnaround flight on Friday & J picked me up from work then to supper.

I spent the whole Sunday at home packing my 5 drawers... 

YES just 5 drawers and table top already took me almost a whole day. Imagine if I were to pack my whole room......................................

OK anyway I woke up craving for food so I decided to fix myself lunch!

BOYS/GUYS/MALE/MEN

The title says it all - What I wanna write about today.

Actually I've always been wanting (aiya I know I forever want a lot of things... Hahahaha) But seriously I've wanted to write up something about guys... Or everything I could think of about the gender for the longest time. There are so many things about guys that they should know how we girls think about them... And perhaps do something about it....? Haha.

Well, I'm not saying we females are oh-so-perfect because I know OBVIOUSLY there's a whole lot to talk about and if you were to start writing about girls, a 10 pages blog post wouldn't be enough too. Right guys? Hehe I'm already picturing myself surrounded by a circle of you holding the machine guns ready to shoot anytime.......................... Alright ready for this?

1) Image/Grooming

What creates the first impression everytime we meet new people? Definitely the overall look of oneself; We judge from what we see of each other the very first time and sets the very first impression before we even speak. Com'on face it, not everyone is good looking. But at least if you know you're not good looking - DON'T MAKE YOURSELF LOOK EVEN WORSE.

Have a haircut that suits you, and trim it as often as you need to. 

The face - I think facial hair (and piercings?) is the only thing you could do to your face to make it look better. As much as we'd love to... We cannot edit our features just LIKE THAT (Don't talk about plastic surgery la). Therefore, if you're keeping your facial hair... Then keep them neat and clean. And yes it's sexy to have facial hair according to some people, but not everyone's suitable. Unless you look like him la....

Then it's different okay. Hahaha.

SO if you're not, then shave your facial hair everyday and keep your face fresh and clean. 

You don't look cool LIKE THAT :

Make it a habit! S H A V E what you should!

Guys may think that it's too metro or vain or gay to use facial products.

But I beg to differ. I think it's a plus point for guys who takes good care of their face and skin (and not overdoing it) and also making sure their face doesn't flood with oil nor gets too flaky and dry.

So unless you're born with natural good skin... Start a facial regime today, IT'S NOT GAY.

One thing about some guys is that they tend to be lazier (EH before you guys scream at me, seriously, girls are generally neater than guys what.... No?) And they don't give a damn to how they look all the time. On the other hand, of course, there are also guys who are even more vain than the girls. (THOSE THAT SPEND 1 HR INFRONT OF THE MIRROR AND WHEN YOU ONLY GENTLY TOUCH THEIR HAIR OR THE WIND BLOWS AND THEY GO "OI!!!!! I STYLE DAMN LONG LEH!!!!! WALAO!!!" EH HELLO CHILL LA. HAHAHA)

But honestly guys, the thing that attracts us would probably be your dress sense. Dressing plays a huge part to how you look. You need not follow the trend (of course it's good if you can) nor wear branded clothings - Just wear something that looks good on you, that makes you look neat and smart for the occasion. If you're unsure, at least ask someone for opinion (If there's no one or you're shy maybe you can like cut away your face and send as anonymous to me ok email jujulove@hotmail.sg and I'll help you I don't charge. Hahahahahaa) or do some googling/research online before you step out of the house.

- Don't try to be funny matching different colors if you're unsure of doing it.
- Don't tuck in your shirt when it's supposed to be out or vice versa.
- Don't wear pants that has bell-bottom or pants that's too long for your legs.
- Don't match a funny colored shoes with your outfit:
BELT & SHOES should always be of similar color.
- Don't wear shirts that's too big for you.
- Don't wear your pants too high, or too low (We're not really interested in your underwear)
- Try to invest in more clothes, it's really not vain. Don't keep repeating your attire.

So if you belong to the anyhow-wear-a-tee-and-jeans-with-flipflop group of guys... Probably it's time you do something about your wardrobe. Throw away your ah pek outfits TODAY and shop for new (and affordable) ones. And no I'm not saying you should dress up every single time you go out la duh... Nobody wears a tuxedo to the beach or the nearby mall right. So yeah... You get my drift.

AND REMEMBER TO PRESS YOUR CLOTHES!

Then it comes to accessories. 

Personally to me, I think the important accessories that a guy should invest in would be :

1) Watches.

2) Wallet.

3) Belts - Formal & Informal.

4) PERFUMEEEEEEE!!! - I'm very particular about this because I'm super sensitive to scent and I love it when a guy smells gooooooood. Hehehe. Choose the right cologne/parfum because you'll never know who's secretly smelling you, maybe some girl fall in love with your scent first then interested to know you better leh? RIGHT? :D

And because guys don't normally carry a bag around, I think it's secondary. But if you do, then don't use a slingbag or a backpack in your formal/office wear (which I always see) or carry a leather briefcase in your t-shirt and jeans. Suit/formal: Carry-on Briefcase, PERIOD. It's either that or you don't carry a bag at all.

2) Hygiene

Guys, HYGIENE IS VERY IMPORTANT. 

So what if you dresses well but you smell bad or have dirty nails? JI TAO (Straight away) TURN OFF. 

And don't you think you can smoke through not showering or washing your clothes just by spraying more cologne... Hello maybe it'll help for the first few times you meet a girl but it doesn't help once she gets more intimate with you! And when a girl finds out how a dirty and lazy freak you are... DANG! That's it.

(Alternatively you can find a girl who's as unhygienic as you? ^^ Eww.) 

And usually guys who perspire easily... There's nothing to be shameful of, it's normal to sweat what. But always bring a packet of tissue with you. You impress the girl & you keep your face clean from those sweats. 

AND AVOID YOUR SWEAT FROM DRIPPING INTO YOUR FOOD! 

On top of that, if you know you have body odour, then practice using deodorant often and keep yourself fresh. Be let that ruin your confidence :)

And if you do smoke, make sure you don't stink. Both you and your breath.
Best is don't smoke. Hahaha.

3) Character/Personality/Attitude

This is really subjective I know. However generally guys mature much later than girls do and gets more rowdy than girls do. Watch your behaviour because it speaks a lot about how a person you are. Don't make a fool out of yourself in public - Be it physically or virtually. Think before you speak, use the right words.

Some guys can be really egoistic, arrogant and... Unfriendly. It's not easy to change but at least don't be too stuck up la. It's not cool at all and it certainly shun away a lot of people. So what if you happen to be rich? You're just another sad kid with no friends, and those around you obviously just want to take advantage of you because you got the moolah... lor. 

Then the shy and introvert ones... Speak up speak up! Guys cannot keep quiet all the time. You need to talk - Be it to woo the girl of your dream, for work, or for whatever la.

It's definitely a challenge but it's not impossible to change. Get out there today and start talking to people. Or get a customer service job. Or hang out with more friends. Or go to partiessss! There's ALWAYS the first time and if you don't take the first step - You'll never overcome this. Tell yourself you can, and you will. *GOGOGO!*POMPOMGIRLS* Hehehehehe

To me, mannerism and attitude are the two key pointers that a guy should always instill in them. I can NEVER tolerate guys with foul manners and negative attitude. If you're guilty now, FYL and change! *ROLL EYESSSSSSS* And oh ya, never lie. H O N E S T Y.

There's a whole lot more but it's impossible to list 'em down...

Aiya just be fun-loving, friendly, sincere and nice. Don't be a meanie and cunning fox! >:/

I've always been in the service industry and I meet all kinds of people.

From the really shitty and Tao Nao Pai (Brain damaged) ones... To the weird ones... And of course thankfully most of the people I meet are nice :) 

And I think a smile creates a positive vibe and leaves a good impression. 

SMILE A LOT (Of course only whenever appropriate, don't be like a lunatic hahaha) because nobody looks good when they sulk :) 

Oh well, all that's been said... Nobody is perfect. Whatever I've typed are just to help you guys do a little self-check and don't fall into the "boys-that-girls-anti" category. Haha

ANDDDD of course if the girl likes it the way you already are now (even if you're dirty smelly rude), then you've just wasted the past x minute reading this.

JULIN LIM IS BACK TO BLOGGING!

And so....

I'm back to blogging after a good hiatus of... 3 years probably? 

Still remember how much I loved to share everything on my blog, having so many people reading it and then suddenly got bored of it so I shut it :| 

And a lot of people have been asking me to come back to blogging...

I've always wanted to find back the passion to do it again; To be able to sit infront of the screen for hours just to put up a good post, making htmls... But I swear I'm becoming more like a sloth. The thought of taking photos, uploading them, editing them, putting in captions and putting up a post sounds so much like a chore to me already. HAHA contradicting much while I'm typing this post away eh?

But oh well, here I am in Zurich and I'm so bored so I've finally, (fiiiiinnnaaallly) decided to give it another shot. A new space, a new start :) BUT seriously, I've lost touch with Blogger so long that this new template's confusing me. Tsk. 

I promise to update as much as I could, I shall transform from a sloth to... *Thinking what's an hardworking animal* ERRRRRR ANTS! Hahahahahaa yes, I'll try la okay.
